In these festive days at the end of the year, we like to remember the moments and people that have made it special, and to commit to new vows. In our Bank, we also try to pursue the set goals every year – being responsible to people and the environment we live and work in.
Therefore we also got involved in many socially responsible campaigns last year – in the scope of our work, but also with the help of our brave volunteers. With every step, however small, we can do something good.

Buzzing of the bees - sound of life
Over one third of our employees have joined the all-Slovenian campaign of planting the nectar plants organised by the Slovenian Bee-keeper's Association. Our volunteers have planted as many nectar plants as there are employees in our Bank.
This is the beginning of a long-term collaboration with the Slovenian Bee-keeper's Association in the field of preserving the environment for our posterity.
The future is in Circular Economy
The Intesa Sanpaolo Group that our Bank belongs to, supports the projects that change our world for the better. This year, a loan for the green business initiatives was also granted to the Slovenian Company, Friško, where they have an environmentally friendly greenhouse for growing the Lušt tomato, which is an excellent example of cohabitation with nature and using the natural resources.
Help for the people of Ukraine
We also heard the call of the many in need who were affected by the war, and made a donation of EUR 10,000 to the Slovenian Red Cross, who collect funds for providing help to the people of Ukraine. We also enabled our customers to make their contributions easily by using our mobile application.
Moreover, we provide all Ukrainians who found refuge from the war in Slovenia an option to open an account and use a service plan for one year free of charge.
Old computers are not a waste
We know that very well in our Bank, where we regularly give away computers that are no longer suitable for our work.
Well preserved and reconditioned, they can serve the children in schools all over Slovenia for many years to come, thereby also reducing the amount of electronic waste.
Not only a mom - a woman
This is the slogan of the project aimed to support all women who perform many duties in their professional and personal life, besides being mothers.
On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we launched a new consumer credit named A Working Mum, to empower mothers and help them to maintain their financial independence and easier coordination of their family lives and careers.
Don’t lose your head online
In cooperation with the Savings Museum in Turin, we have been involved in the project for Financial education of youth since 2017.
From 24 October to 4 November, 8 ambassadors - the Bank's employees - held 17 workshops in the field of cybernetic security, ensuring a safer entry of our children into the digital world. The workshops were attended by 436 pupils from 6 primary schools in Slovenia.
We love to help
In our Back-office Division, they have also included social responsibility in their internal team-building activities. 51 employees have joined the initiative of the Okolje Piran Company, where they have combined their efforts to clean Strunjan and the Stjuže surroundings.
Besides the socialising activities, they also transformed the area we live and work in into a nicer and cleaner environment.
An unforgettable summer for our kids
After a two-year break, we provided the children of our employees a two-week gathering with their peers from other countries where the Intesa Sanpaolo Group operates. The diverse company really enjoyed the Junior Camp in Savudrija, where they found new connections and friends.
Connected by our values
This year, we have prepared a special campaign to facilitate our values in the workspace. “Preserving focus”, “Contributing solutions”, “Connected by kindness”, and “Growing together” are the four key values leading our work.
The employees who were recognised by their colleagues as the ones who embody our values the most, also received golden plaquettes at this year’s pre-Christmas party.
