We would like to inform you that we have again detected attempts to abuse our customers - users of the Intesa Sanpaolo Bank online bank. This time via SMS messages with the content "Intesa Sanpaolo Bank: Your account has been temporarily blocked for security reasons".
The message urges recipients to log in to the online bank again, stating that the reason is to update the data to restore access. The email also includes a malicious link.
We remind you that the email was not sent by the bank, so do not click on the link and delete the message immediately.
The bank never sends links to access its digital channels. Always access the online and mobile bank only via links or applications that you have saved on your devices.
The bank also never asks customers to provide sensitive data, such as personal data, password, PIN code, etc., not via web links or through its employees. Therefore, never trust such data to an unknown person, even if they present themselves as a bank employee.
If you receive a call that you find suspicious, we advise you to hang up and call the bank's Contact Center on the free phone number 080 13 18 to verify the authenticity of the call received. If the call turns out to be malicious, we advise you to block the number.
