Annual business partners meeting of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Slovenia: United in opportunities for sustainable growth
29/05/2025
In times of rapid change, technological shifts, and climate challenges, cooperation is the key to success. This year's Annual business partners meeting for the Corporate and SME segments of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Slovenia once again provided an opportunity for honest and in-depth dialogue on the future of the economy and the role of the banking and business sectors in building a sustainable, productive, and resilient society.
The event was an opportunity for exchanging ideas and best practices, with a focus on three key themes: boosting productivity, the green transition as a business opportunity, energy, and cybersecurity as an essential foundation of digital transformation.
As highlighted in the opening remarks by Luigi Fuzio, CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, energy transition and management is crucial for our daily lives, as well as one of the key foundations that guide the bank’s continuous progress and innovation—a journey that this year marks its 70th anniversary.
Contributions to these relevant topics, so important for the future of the Slovenian economy, came from Dr. Peter Wostner from the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development, Massimo Deandreis, General Director of the SRM Research Center (part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group), and mag. Evald Kranjčevič from Petrol. Matjaž Mušič, Head of Corporate Banking Products, presented the bank’s latest offerings, including mini-bonds and green loans, while Đani Begić, Head of Cybersecurity, emphasized the critical importance of cybersecurity for businesses in an era of digital threats.
The Annual business partners meeting was not only an opportunity for substantive discussions but also a chance to strengthen relationships built on trust, shared values, and long-term collaboration, as underscored at the close of the meeting by Petar Vujović, Management Board Member responsible for small, medium, and large enterprises.
