Saving
What is #withSAVE and how do you activate/navigate it?
#withSAVE is a savings feature that works as a digital money jar. Once activated, the client can load money into the "#withSAVE" account and perform a withdrawing operation to move funds back to the main account associated with "#withSAVE".
The client can use “#withSAVE” in the standard money jar version, or it is possible to activate personal goals, setting specific savings objectives that the client can define and manage autonomously.
During the Product Activation, the client can configure several options:
- enable Round Up;
- enable Easy Transfer;
- enable a recurring payment associated with the "#withSAVE" account.
In this phase, the client can also define detailed saving rules, such as:
- the amount of money to transfer;
- the frequency of recurring payments;
- the time period when the recurring payment should start.
Within the same activation flow, the client can view contract details, authorisation information to verify the conditions and receive confirmation that the feature has been successfully activated.
On the confirmation page, the client can also decide to activate goals, bearing in mind that goal activation is independent from the activation of the standard "#withSAVE" function. A client may therefore first activate "#withSAVE" as a simple money jar and later decide to create one or more specific goals.
The "#withSAVE" landing page becomes the main reference point to understand and monitor savings progress.
From this dashboard, if at least one goal has been activated, the client can immediately see:
- the amount of money allocated to goals;
- the amount not yet allocated to any goal;
- the total balance linked to "#withSAVE".
This structure makes it easy to distinguish between the portion of savings dedicated to specific objectives and the portion still free, which can later be assigned to a goal or kept as non-allocated savings in the “#withSAVE” account.
In addition, the dashboard includes a dedicated transactions section, which allows the client to consult the history of movements related to "#withSAVE", such as:
- money added to "#withSAVE";
- money released from goals back to "#withSAVE";
- transfers between the main account, the "#withSAVE" account and individual goals.
The client can also access the “Information and conditions” section, ensuring that contractual and service details are always available.
From the same landing page, the client can find the “Add a new goal” button, that makes it possible to add a new goal at any time, without leaving the dashboard.
By tapping on the “Manage” button, the client can access a more operational view of the configuration, where it is possible to:
- review the initial settings of the service;
- see settings related to “Add and release goal”;
- view and adjust money transfer settings towards goals from the main “#withSAVE” account, and vice-versa;
- update and modify the rules defined at set-up.
In this way, the "#withSAVE" dashboard offers both an aggregated view (total, allocated, unallocated) and direct access to key management functions (new goals, rule changes, transaction details).
How do you deposit and withdraw money?
Depositing and withdrawing in "#withSAVE" is managed through the add money and release processes, which are handled at the level of each individual goal.
To access these options, the client can start from the “#withSAVE” landing page, go to the “Your goals” section, and tap on the three-dots icon for the specific goal to be managed.
This opens a menu with several options:
- add money, where the client specifies the amount of money to add to the "#withSAVE" account/specific goal, and confirms the operation through the required authorisation;
- release money, where the client release funds from the goal back to the non-allocated portion of the "#withSAVE" account, or use those funds to transfer money to other goals;
- goal details;
- change settings;
- close the goal.
In practice, it is possible not only to transfer money directly into a goal to increase the amount assigned to that objective, but also to carry out the reverse process (i.e. move money currently held in a goal back to the "#withSAVE" account).
From there, the funds can be left unallocated, reallocated to other goals or eventually moved back to the main account using the standard product functions.
Which clients are eligible for "#withSAVE" product activation?
All types of client are eligible for "#withSAVE".
The feature is not tied to any specific characteristics of the client, so there are no particular restrictions linked to profile, segment or other eligibility conditions.
How does Internet Banking view-only mode work?
Operational management of "#withSAVE" is only available in the Mobile App, while Internet Banking provides a view-only experience.
All activities related to initial set-up of "#withSAVE", configuration (Round Up, Easy Transfer, and recurring payments) and creation/modification/closure of goals are performed exclusively in the App.
Through the Internet Banking view, the client can:
- consult an overview of goals;
- see an overview of the "#withSAVE" feature;
- monitor the service and related history (e.g. savings trends and recorded movements),
but cannot change settings or manage individual goals directly. Internet Banking therefore offers a clear and complete view of savings, while the App remains the channel for configuration and control.
What is the "#withSAVE" activation process?
The #withSAVE activation process starts when the client taps on the dedicated option in the Savings menu tab.
Product Activation is a step-by-step process where client can:
- enable Round Up;
- enable Easy Transfer;
- enable a recurring payment to the #withSAVE account.
Then, at this stage, the client defines the saving rules, specifying:
- the amount of money to be transferred automatically;
- the frequency of the recurring payment;
- the time period when recurring payments should start.
At the end, the client can review contract, accept them and grant authorization for the service contract. Once the configuration has been finalized, a confirmation page informs that “#withSAVE” has been correctly activated, from which the client can also proceed to activate goals, bearing in mind that the decision to create goals is independent from the activation of the standard "#withSAVE" function.
All of this set-up is performed only via the App, instead from Internet Banking, client can only check summary and historical view of the service.
How do you create and manage goals?
Creation and management of goals in "#withSAVE" follow a guided flow triggered by the “Add a new goal” button, available in the “#withSAVE” landing page.
When the client taps this button, the goal set-up process begins and the client can:
- assign a name to the goal;
- define the target amount of money they want to reach;
- configure all related rules, such as the due date by which they want to achieve the goal and the amount of money to be regularly assigned to that goal.
During goal set-up, the client is also offered the option to activate a recurring payment specifically dedicated to that goal. The parameters of this recurring payment are defined at this stage, but remain fully editable at any time.
Goals can be deactivated or deleted at any moment, and the client can also change the goal settings at any time, providing flexibility in managing personal objectives.
The client can not only transfer money directly into a goal to increase its balance, but can also perform the reverse operation, moving money currently held in a goal back to the "#withSAVE" account. From there, the amount can be kept unallocated, redirected to other goals or eventually moved back to the main account according to the client’s needs and the available functions.
