With the development of new online and mobile banking solutions, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank has come even closer to its customers and remained in contact with them even when the world "closed”. Digital innovations are part of our bank’s genetic record and we are aware that the company’s progress will continue to be based on the invention of new technologies.
It is important that young generations in particular adopt, understand and use these, as soon as possible, in order to create a new value, but also to use them responsibly, which is why we at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank support activities encouraging this.
In Slovenia, such activities are performed by the Varni internet (Safe internet) institute, which Intesa Sanpaolo Bank will financially support this year with the money normally intended for business presents.
The schooling and social life of children and adolescents has this year shifted almost entirely into the digital world.
With well-acquired skills, they can successfully integrate into the digital ecosystem, which will continue to require more and more knowledge and skills due to its rapid development.
The Varni internet institute teaches for a bright digital future. Through various educational programmes, the institute tries to raise awareness of the importance of safe, informed and, above all, effective use of the internet and to educate children and youth into skilled users of digital tools with which they can turn their ideas into reality and create new opportunities.
They successfully cooperate with more than 130 primary and secondary schools throughout Slovenia and other public institutions and companies, and have thus through their activities reached more than 55,000 people.
