When and why is wise to choose an instant payment?

When choosing a method of payment, you can opt for instant payment. As the name suggests, it makes sense to choose such a method of payment when we want the payment to be made instantly or immediately. Instant payment is made in a few seconds, on any day, at any time. The recipient of the payment also receives the funds on the transaction account immediately, 24 hours a day, every day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

  • The bank enables immediate domestic and cross-border payments in euros.
  • The transaction can be performed via online and mobile banking, by selecting "instant payment" on the payment order.
  • The amount of the instant payment transaction is limited to EUR 50,000.
  • An instant payment transaction is charged in accordance with the bank's applicable tariff. Payment costs are lower than for cash payment.
What information do you need to communicate to your business partner?
  • Your transaction account number in the form of an IBAN (the IBAN can be found on the statements of transactions and balances),
  • BIC code (BAKOSI2X),
  • your name and address,
  • name and address Banka Intesa Sanpaolo d. d., Pristaniška 14, 6502 Koper.
What do the abbreviations SHA, OUR and BEN mean?
  • SHA (shared) - the payer pays the fees charged by the bank, and the payee pays the fees charged by his bank and any fees charged by the intermediary bank.
  • OUR (our) - all fees related to the payment transaction are carried by the payer; that means he is charged for the fee charged to him by the bank as well as the fees charged to the payee by his bank and possibly the intermediary bank.
  • BEN (beneficiary) - all fees related to the payment transaction are carried by the payee.

For a executed domestic or cross-border payment transaction in any currency in which the bank operates, the payer pays the fees charged by the bank. The payee, on the other hand, pays the fees charged to him by his bank and any fees charged to him by the intermediary bank.

For a executed cross-border payment transaction in the currency of a Member State or in the currency of a third country to a country other than a Member State, and for another executed payment transaction, fees are charged according to the payment order payer information (ie SHA, OUR or BEN) .
